Department Announcements Class Supply ListGRAPHING CALCULATORSFor the 2013-2014 school year, graphing calculators will be required in the following courses: Algebra I, Enriched Algebra I, Geometry, Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra II (with Trigonometry), Honors Pre-Calculus, and Honors AP Calculus AB. The department files section below has more information on which graphing calculators are required for each course. If you are purchasing a new graphing calculator, please save the enitre packaging. Your teacher can redeem the packaging for free classroom items!
BIG CHANGESInformation on the upcoming math curriculum changes and graphing calculator requirements will be posted here. Please check back periodically for updates on the changes taking place in the MTHS Mathematics Department. Our department's goal is to have students career and college-ready and provide them with enough mathematics background to avoid having to take non-credit remedial courses in college.
Summer PacketsAttention MTHS Mathematics students! If you are signed up for any of the following classes, Enriched Algebra I, Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra II (with Trigonometry), Honors Pre-Calculus, or Honors AP Calculus AB; you should have received a summer study packet. If you did not receive one or need another copy, please download a copy located in the department files section of this Web page. Packets will also be available in the Guidance Office.
